Pentheus’s pants were constructed from a traditional pattern for Japanese Hakama. They are made from an orange ribbed silk and feature a hand-stitched back piece, as well as a great deal of hand stitching in general.
Completely constructed and embellished by me, this was built from a commercial pattern for traditional Scandinavian garments. Progress photos and detail shots can be found here.
Dream Ballet Postcard Girls - I mocked up all three corsets from an existing commercial pattern, and fully constructed the center (blue) corset. In addition, I attatched all of the decorations and straps.
Twelfth Night - Viola (end of show) I mocked up the bodice from an existing sloper and the actor’s measurements, as well as fully constructing the final garment from a beautiful soft pink silk and floral overlay.
